Abbie: Oh dear… I don’t know you’ve been through all this….. When you told me you are crying in Dr Koe’s clinic, I thought you are just too depressed cause Hayden still don’t know how to latch on directly. My fault cause did not ask into details. Luckily the daddy hardworking enough to update the blog (today come back check only realize)….Thanks Sam for keep us update. Rest when baby rest. This is not a short term project.. it is a life long project… Add oil!!!!

I know I have to get enough rest in order to take good care of my wife and son, but I think I have been too excited with Hayden’s arrival, that’ why…
We have an appointment with Dr. Koe soon, we will see what she says about Abbie and Hayden.

Oh dear… I didn’t know you have gone through this roller coaster ride. She should have called me! This so called ‘short tongue’ is quite common, and Hayden is lucky to have been diagnosed quick enough to undergo this minor surgery. It is essential, or else he will suffer speech problem.

As for the breastfeeding, positioning is important. Now that you have visited Dr. Koe, I’m sure you know how to handle now. If not, give me a call, I can visit her after work.

Glad you are not using syringe now, coz bottle will cause nipple confusion, and affect Abbie’s effort in breastfeeding.

How I wish I could be there to comfort her too…

And hey, Sam, I think you need to take a good rest. Don’t feel guilty for falling asleep, coz you are not robot, you need rest as well. Only when you are fit, you can support Abbie and Hayden better.

In my 1st week, I was under depression as well due to stress with baby. It is hard, but I think you have done your best… :)

Hayden boy, guai guai la… Mommy and Daddy have helped you alot. Next time you can speak very good English coz can roll tongue very well :) Drink more milk la. <3 <3 muax muax!
