Hayden is 3 month-old

Hayden just recovered from a milk rash. The rash had created two big islands on his cheeks, and it irritated Hayden so badly that he had to scratch his cheeks all the time. The scratch doesn’t help to recover, instead it worsened the rash until it bled slightly.

The rash has gone, thanks to the externally use medicine given by Dr. Chia, believed to be steroid.

Hayden has given up newborn and ‘S’ sized diapers, he is fit with ‘M’ size for about a month, and we have prepared the ‘L’ for him. Hayden is in Huggies Ultra now.

Hayden likes to lick now, he licks everything and anything, from fingers to shoulder, our shirts, and his own mittens. If he can reach his feet, I believe he will like the feet too. Perhaps it is time to introduce pacifier or teether now.

Hayden is a cool boy. He doesn’t show his smile easily. He has a wonderland at home, it is the changing mat. He can be alone at his wonderland happily for a long time. Also, it is a good place to calm him when he is screaming or crying like mad.

The conflict between two generations

A woman is the baby’s mother, and the other is the baby’s grandmother. If one or both of them don’t realise their own position and role, then conflict is the outcome.

Hayden has been giving us a lot of trouble recently, the most recent one is also the greatest of all because he has successfully triggered a war in between his mum and the granny, it happened yesterday night. It was like The States had been keeping some atomic bombs for decades, and finally they had a chance to test out the bombs on Japan in world war II.

To all grandparents, you had a chance to raise your own children with your own way, and now, it is time for your children to use their own way to raise and educate their own children. You have to realise this otherwise you could have lost both your children and your grandchildren one day, I am no joking.

The old folks like to tell about those days, and how great they were in the past. They just don’t realise the world is changing everyday, evolution and revolution have been happening in every corner of the world in terms of methods and technology. Perhaps they were soooooooo great back then, but we are greater now. Those days, they were on monochrome TV, but we are watching LCD TV with Full HD now.

Moth

Moth, is an insect like a butterfly which usually flies about at night.

In 2006, Abbie and I went to YS Photo Studio in SS2, Abbie got herself a Panasonic FX9, which considered one of the most advance compact cameras back then. I bought a Nikon E4600, one of the most basic and simple compact cameras available ever since we heard about digital camera.

Because of the E4600, I got to learn some photography; Because of the E4600, I know I must get a DSLR if I want to be serious in photography (because I know the strength of both DSLR and compact camera; Because of the E4600, I know I can be crazy and no life if I have a DSLR too; Because of the E4600 and FX9, I got to know Abbie better and ended up with marriage with a son now.

Nikon E4600, such a memorable compact camera to me though I have been keeping it for more than 3 years in the storeroom without seeing it anymore. I got bored with the E4600 in a few months time, after I had my hand at an event by Guess to cover their latest range of handbags, more specifically Amber Chia, with a DSLR borrowed from Andrew Boey, a Nikon-appointed Product Evangelist in Malaysia. I may share the photos of the event later.

This set of photos gifted me with a very nice Nikon collar t-shirt by Fotomentary. Photos were taken with the Nikon Coolpix E4600.
